THE TROOPER BUILT-IN.  An all-American made pellet grill that is the perfect backyard kitchen accessory. The unique and one-of-a-kind auger assembly creates distance between the fire cup and auger outlet (fuel outlet) allowing for an air gap, which minimizes back burn.

This unit has a swing out auger assembly (patent pending) that allows full access to the fire cup.  This feature makes it easy and safe to clean out built-up ash and soot. Since the auger does swing out, this grill requires installation that allows room to do so. See drawings for details. 

Grease retention is important, that’s why our grease chamber is designed to catch the grease without any additional assembly. The innovative KANDO Gear heat diffuser funnels grease down to the grease pan, which is easily accessed by the front door.  Just pull out the grease pan and start cleaning! For larger cooks, there is a grease release hole located under the grill that funnels the grease out into a tray. This does not require under mount installation, the grill base has enough clearance for the bucket to sit underneath. However, there is a pellet release located on the back of the swing out auger. This is most easily used when grill is able to be accessed from the back. 

The Trooper Built-In has a top grill grate that retracts up, providing a full 12 inches of cooking space. Cooking over an open flame creates the best BBQ.  That’s why our unit allows the heat diffuser to rotate from the exterior of the grill in a matter of seconds, even while the grill is hot, exposing the open flame to your favorite meats. 

All KANDO Pellet Grills operate with a FireBoard 2 adaptive control system with integrated drive technology to maintain a precise temperature.  Our ceramic ignition system provides a reliable fire every time by sensing the chamber temperature, not utilizing internal timers. We don’t paint the interior of the cooking chamber to eliminate the risk of paint flaking into your food.
